Another impressive performance by All Saints

ACFL Div.2 Reserve

Aldergrove 0-6 All Saints 5-13

All Saints travelled to Crumlin on Friday night and turned in an impressive performance against a strong Aldergrove team who were a point behind them in the reserve league at the beginning of the evening.

The Ballymena side containing a good mix of youth and experience produced a fine free flowing exhibition of football in the first half leading at the break on a score-line of 4.7 to 3 points.

The 2nd half followed a similar trend and all Saints ran out winners on a final score-line of 5.13 to 0.6.

Gerard O’Callaghan and his management team have certainly given youth it’s chance this year and it has paid dividends with young Ciaran Campbell, making only his second appearance for the team scoring an impressive 2-2, the other goals coming Diarmuid McNally and Aidan Scullion.

This was an excellent All Saints team performance with 20 players getting game time and lots of positives for the management team finishing the game with 11 under 20s on the field.
