While Bellaghy and Crossmaglen took their half time break during the Ulster Minor final at St. Paul’s the stars of the future were given the opportunity to strut their stuff and they didn’t disappoint. Host club St. Paul’s fielded under age sides against both Bellaghy and Crossmaglen on cross-field pitches quickly erected by very efficient club stewards who did an excellent job on the day to ensure matters ran smoothly.
All three groups of youngsters showed enough skill and enthusiasm to suggest that the future of all these clubs are in safe hands with a lot of promising talent on show and the packed house at the Shaw’s Road venue showed their appreciation as they cheered their respective sides throughout the games.
