Ladies Minor B Football Final
Gort na Mona overcame the challenge of Rossa in the Ladies Minor B football championship final at Colaiste Feirste in an excellent final. The better team play of the Gorts girls proved to be the deciding factor in the end but they were pushed all the way by a battling Rossa. The Rossa girls fought to the very end and showed why they deserved their place in the final. In the second half the match
was anyone’s for the taking but Gort na Mona’s point scoring kept them ahead despite Rossa’s goals. A great match between two up and coming clubs. Credit to both clubs for what was an exciting final right to the end.
