Dominant All Saints win Feile B title

North Antrim Feile B Final

All Saints 9-5 Con Magees 0-4

All Saints Ballymena had just too much power for Con Magees Glenravel in the North Antrim Feile B final in Cushendun on Saturday as they raced to a 9-5 to 0-4 win. Ahead from the opening seconds when full forward Ciaran McQuillan rattled the Glenravel net the Ballymena boys added points from Joseph O’Rawe and Aodhan McGarry (2) before Glenravel got their opening point through Cormac McKeown. The Glenravel boys then had their best spell of the game and could have had a couple more scores but the All Saints defence was solid and when they broke upfield Daniel McCoy added a quick goal and a point to give his team a 2-4 to 0-1 half time lead.

McCoy got his second goal just seconds into the new half and the floodgates opened. Ciaran McQuillan and Aodhan McGarry added two more goals. Cormac McKeown, who played really well for Glenravel throughout the game, got another point but All Saints added four more goals through TP McGurk, Joseph O’Rawe, Ciaran McQuillan and Ryan McCartney. McKeown and Caolan Lennon battled to the end for the Con Magees and McKeown added two more points, but All Saints were home and hosed as they clinched a convincing win.
