The Orchard Fruit & Veg Randalstown
The South West Antrim division have three finals down for decision this weekend with Cuchullain’s Dunloy meeting St. Comgall’s Antrim in the Orchard Randalstown-McCormick Cup final in Portglenone on Saturday at 6-15.
On Sunday at Whitehill the Kelly Stone Ballymoney-Breslin Shield final between Con Magee’s Glenravel and Casement’s Portglenone is down for decision followed by the Truffles Resturant Randalstown-Breslin Cup final where St. James Aldergrove meet All Saints, Ballymena.
Finals of the South West competitions are usually well attended and the action in Portglenone gets a busy weekend under way. The McCormick Cup looks a difficult one to predict as Dunloy didn’t play in this year’s O’Cahan Cup so in theory could field a lot of their senior team but they will come up against a St. Comgall’s side who were impressive in their win over a good Casement’s second string in the semi-final.
In the Breslin Shield final on Sunday Casements may just have the edge over Con Magee’s but the Glenravel lads concede nothing easy in a final while All Saints look favourites in the Breslin Cup final but again they will be pushed all the way by the Crumlin boys.
