Déjà vu all over again!

Loughgiel's Tiernan Coyle reaches for the ball as he is challenged by Dunloy's James McKeague during Sunday's Bathashack Antrim Senior Hurling Championship semi-final in Ballycastle where Loughgiel caused a real upset to dump the champions out of the competition with a 0-14 to 0-8 win Pic by Dyllan McIlwaine

There was a touch of déjà vu in this evening’s draws for the semi-final of the Antrim Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals in Cushendall when it threw up the same pairings as last year with holders Cushendall paired with St John’s and the 2017 champions Dunloy drawn out against neighbours Loughgiel.

The draw was made in the Cushendall clubrooms after the Ruairi Ogs had beaten Rossa in the last of the round robin games, a win that put them through in their group along with Dunloy. Earlier in the day at Corrigan Park St John’s secured their place by beating Belfast rivals St Gall’s.

The semi-finals will be played in two weeks time, with one of the games likely to be on Saturday and the other on Sunday.
