Would you like to play for Antrim? This year we have entered a second adult team in Ulster and All-Ireland level competitions. Ideally the team will bridge the gap between minor and senior intercounty, allowing players to progress their careers in Saffron.
However it is open to all players, over 17 from all the clubs in the clubs in the county. Gavin Curran has been appointed manager and he has asked that the following message be sent to all clubs. If you have any questions, Gavin has provided a contact number.
Hi all, I’ve been ratified as the Antrim Junior Camogie team manager. I’m keen to talk to all players who maybe haven’t played at senior level or maybe even played under age county but believe they have what it takes.
I’m keen to talk to all interested players to try to build a panel. I’m also keen to work with clubs to ensure clashes don’t happen. We all dream of wearing the saffron, lets encourage our players to take up this opportunity.
