U12 Result All Saints 2-09 to 2-07 Moneyglass.

The All Saints boys fought back from seven points down early on to record their 5th win in a row against a very good Moneyglass team. Early goals from Tiernan McCormack and Paul Duffin plus two good points from McCormack put Moneyglass in control early on. The visitors had a chance to further stretch their lead when they were awarded a penalty but ths shot was well saved by All Saints keeper Carter Reid and this proved the turning point in the match. A Goal from Aodhan McGarry brought the home team back into it and Ciaran McQuillan kept the scoreboard ticking over with a few frees won by the hard running of Archie McGreevey and Conlin Neil.

The second half was a great example of South West football at this age group with both teams showing tremendous skills and work ethic. A Fintan Brady goal put All Saints into the lead for the first time and points from Pearse Martin, McGarry and McQuillan helped keep All Saints ahead but the game was tight right until the end. Further frees won by McGreevey were converted to seal the win.

Two very evenly matched teams who may well go on and meet in the semi-finals when the league finishes this weekend.
