Moneyglass 4-3 Tír na nÓg 4-0
Moneyglass beat Tir na Nog on Thursday evening in the quarter final of the U14 Camogie Championship . Going into the match as underdogs Moneyglass showed strength and determination from the throw in and with the defence outstanding the girls from Marian Hill proved too strong for the White Hill girls. Strong attacking from the back line to the full forward line and excellent team play by the midfeilders left the Moneyglass girl coming out with a well deserved win . Tir Na Nog battled hard and took their goals well but when the final whistle blew the girls in blue had a three point victory.
The victory earns Moneyglass a semi-final meeting with St Enda’s.
