Thomas Devlin Finals Down for Decision on Sunday

The South West Antrim U14 Thomas Devlin Finals will be played at Erin’s Own, Cargin this Sunday and we should be in for another feast of football. These treble headers usually attract a bumper crowd and Sunday’s games should be no different.

The main event of the day, the Cup final sees Feile finalist’s, All Saints Ballymena and St. Ergnat’s Moneyglass cross swords again and by virtue of that Feile win the Slemish Park side will start as slight favourites. They would do well to be wary of Moneyglass however with great work going on with youth at present at the Marian Hill club.

The action gets under way at 11.00am with Creggan and St. Comgall’s meeting in the Plate final and this will be followed at 12.15 by the Shield Final where Glenavy or Rasharkin play Tir Na nOg or Dunloy. At the time of writing I didn’t have results for those play-offs.

The Cup final is down for decision at 1.30 but why not come along and enjoy all three games. Once again the South West Committee deserve massive credit for the organisation of their competitions which run smoothly year after year.
