Saints and Slimmers Queen and King 2018 Sinead Connolly and Anthony Lee

Friday night saw the culmination of the All Saints GAC Saints and Slimmers programme. The Finale Night came at the close of the club’s very successful  6 week health and wellbeing programme and provided the 150 participants with an opportunity to celebrate their achievements in the company of friends and family. A variety of awards were announced on the night including the 10 greatest individual weight loss winners and the individual Slimmers 2018 King and Queen. The highlight of the night came in the Dance Off when each of the 10 teams performed a dance themed on the movies. The overall winners were the RMP Piranhas Team with their routine based on the Great Gatsby followed in 2nd place by the Teamkit Turtles dancing to Burlesque while in 3rd place came the Steele Pysio Stingrays with their version of the Whoopie Goldberg hit musical, Sister Act. The Stingrays were to have the final celebration though as they finished the evening as Overall Saints and Slimmers Champions 2018. A great 6 weeks of fun and activity topped off with over £2k raised for the club’s selected charities on the night .. Opt for Life (Make Life your Legacy) and DeterMND.
