With another league title already wrapped up Loughgiel are building towards championship and on Tuesday evening Rossa were the team to suffer as the Shamrock ladies piled on the scores. They have been running up massive scores all season and on Tuesday they did it again, raking up a massive 6-20 – 6-19 of it coming from play. Roisin McCormick led the way with 2-06, Emma McMullan hit 2-03 while Caitrin Dobbin hit 1-04. Katie McKillop got the other goal while there were two points apiece from Lucia McNaughton, Aisling McFadden and Chloe Higgins, with Laura McFadden getting the other points. Bronagh Orchin hit all Rossa’s six point from frees.

The Ballycastle girls were dominant from the start as Bridini Oga could not get their game going in a mirror image of what had happened in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Ballycastle kept picking off the points from all angles and though the Glenravel girls battled to the end they could not get near their more illustrious opponents.
