Sunday 7th October, 7.00pm, St. Joseph’s Parish Centre, Dunloy
The Concert will provide a moving and positive evening, with music from Riverdance to Abba by way of Tchaikovsky and Brian Boru and a short Mindset Drama
“MindandMusic2018” was chosen as an “it does what it says on the Tin” name. The project is aimed at producing high quality music, encouraging social inclusion, vital to supporting mental wellbeing as part of a Community Mental Health Awareness Project.
Over the Summer Dunloy Comhaltas established a Cross-Community, Irish Traditional Orchestra & Choir. Singers and Musicians, aged 7 to 70, came from County Antrim, and beyond, to take part in workshops and rehearsals every weekend in preparation for a concert in St Joseph’s Parish Centre Dunloy, on Sunday 7th October at 7.00pm.
Mindset workshops were held and Mental Wellbeing information was offered to participants and locals as part of the project.
Our thanks to North Antrim Community Network, the Public Health Agency and Comhaltas for financial support and advice for the Project.
