Ruairi Og won Sunday’s Division 1 final of the Central Restaurant North Antrim Indoor Hurling League when they beat Ballycastle in the final at the Seven Towers Leisure Centre in Ballymena. The game was one of seven played in a great day’s hurling at the Ballymena venue, which featured teams from around the county and beyond.

In the Division 2 decider an impressive Omagh St Enda’s team had a 6-2 win over Michael Davitt’s of Swatragh, showing that hurling is alive and well in Tyrone and Derry. The Division 3 final was an all Dungiven affair with Kevin Lynch’s 2nds beating the club’s 1st team by 1 goal to nil, while in Division 4 All Saints Ballymena beat Eoghan Rua 3rds by 5 goal to 1. Ballycastle 2nds had a 5-1 win over Creggan in the Division 5 final, Ruairi Og 3rds beat Michael Davitt’s 2nds after extra time in the Division 6 decider while Naomh Padraig beat Loughgiel 3rds in the Division 7 showdown, which was the first game of the day.
