The Antrim CCC paid tribute for the input provided by clubs, team managers and indeed players who were in attendance at the recent club forum which they said was ‘most helpful in shaping the fixture programme for 2019’.

The body involved in making fixtures for the year acknowledged the desire within clubs to get a firm handle on dates to enable the facilitating of training scheduling and were borne in mind in announcing start dates;

Senior Hurling Leagues Sunday 24^th March

Senior Football Leagues Sunday 31^st March

For the most part and broadly speaking league games will alternate between codes as best possible and always taking account of both our single and dual nature of clubs and players.

There is a fixture gap included between 8^th-20^th July, but the CCC do reserve the right to utilize the second week of such to facilitate the need to accommodate any re-fixes as required.

Championships (with the exception of SHC preliminary) are scheduled to commence;

w/e 2^nd August Junior B Hurling;

w/e 9^th August Hurling/Junior Football;

w/e 23^rd August Football;

To proceed on alternative week-ends, hurling and football, thereafter w/e 23^rd August.

It is hoped to have a completed schedule of dates for senior competitions prepared, and made available for the evening of the championship draws.
