Cushendall had a runaway win over Portglenone in Tuesday evening’s Division 1 league game at Pairc Mhuire, Cushendall. A one sided first half saw the home side lead by 1-14 to 0-2 at the break, the goal coming in the 29th minute from full-forward Orlagh O’Hara, while the Portglenone scores came from Siobhan Doherty and Eimear McKee.
Things got even worse for the understrength visitors after the change of ends as five more goals followed from Noleen O’Hara (2), Clodagh McKillop and Naoimi McCurry.
