All Saints V Lamh Dearg

All Saints U14 Hurlers finished their league campaign with a dominant display at home to Lamh Dearg on Tuesday night. In stark contrast to the night before it was a lovely crisp night for hurling under the lights.

The Saints boys who have had a superb season started off quickly with some lovely first time hurling.

Fintan Brady fired them into an early lead with the first of 3 goals while also being denied by some fine goal keeping by the Lamh Dearg stopper.

A strong half back line display kept All Saints on top and the scores kept coming throughout the half. There was Some fine point taking by McGarry who was dangerous throughout, well supported and supplied by the impressive midfield and half back line.

Meanwhile Conan McMullan was keeping things tight in the full back line.

The 2nd half saw more of the same with goals from Archie McGreevey, Sean McDermott and Pearse Martin adding to the tally.

As All Saints rolled on the subs in their final run out of the season the scoring slowed a little but there was still time for a fine McGarry point and another Brady goal.

The result means All Saints have finished top of North Antrims Div 2 league.
