South West Antrim GAA divisional board held their Annual presentation evening in the Dunsilly Hotel on Tuesday night where County chairman, Ciaran McCavana, North Antrim chairman, Martin Magee and Scor organiser, Bronagh Ashe were amongst the guests
The county chairman, Ciaran McCavana congratulated the South West clubs on their clean sweep of Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Minor football championships this year and congratulated the divisional board on their very efficient running of their competitions.
South West chairman, Jim McGrath welcomed the clubs and guests and made a special thanks to sponsors of the various competitions, Thomas Devlin Motors, Kelly’s Mace Dunloy, Heffron’s Randalstown, Truffles Randalstown, Kelly Stone Ballymoney, The Orchard Randalstown and Thorton Roofing for their continued support before presenting trophies to the winners of the various competitions
Amongst a wide array of trophies on display were the Antrim Junior Football championship cup, won by St. Patrick’s Lisburn, the Intermediate Football championship cup won b y St. James Aldergrove and the Senior Football Championship cup won by Erin’s Own, Cargin. Cargin also had the division 1 league cup on display.
It was an excellent year for the Erin’s Own club with their minors collecting the Minor Championship title and their U14’s South West Feile winners and League Cup winners
