Antrim Camogs Gala night in the Wild Duck, Portglenone

The Antrim Camogie Awards dinner was held last night in the Wild Duck Restaurant in Portglenone and once again there was a large turn out as players and officials from throughout the coutnty came along to pick up a series of awards. Ulster Camogie chairperson Jenny Cultra and Gaelfast’s Dr Paul Donnelly were the special guests along sponsors Liam McGuckian of the McGuckian Group and Niall Kearney of Teamkit.

The top award went to Ahoghill who picked up the Club of the Year, Naimh Donnelly of Ballycastle got the Senior Player of the Year, Roisin McCormick of Loughgiel was the Minor Player of the Year while Aine Magill of Cuchullain’s Dunloy received the Under 16 Player of the Year. Clubperson of the Year went to Michelle Downey of Ahoghill while Brona McIntyre of Loughgiel picked up the Referee’s Award
