Tommy McCann and his team were busy over the weekend as P3 and P4 hurlers from the South West tasted Airborne Indoor hurling for the first time at St. Patrick’s College and St. Louis Grammar in Ballymena.
Tommy has been a strong promoter of hurling over many years in the South West and his efforts and those of the South West committee have been instrumental in strengthening hurling in clubs within the divisional board.
On a bitterly wet and cold Saturday morning the indoor venues provided a warm and welcoming venue for those taking part with some excellent hurling played and all those involved should be applauded for their efforts.
