National Camogie League – Division 2
Antrim camogs take on Tipperary today (Sunday) at Ahoghill in their second game in the National Camogie League Division 2. In their opening game against Dublin a couple of weeks ago the team, under the management of Paul McKillen and Jingo McKernan, scored a runaway win and go into this game with confidence. However the management team, who have since been joined by Elaine Dowds, know this will be a much tougher task.
The Tipp girls have won their two games to date , beating Dublin by 2-6 to 0-1 and Laois by 1-6 to 0-5 and are favourites to top the group. However going by the score in Antrim’s win over the Dubs (4-9 to 0-4) it would suggest that there wont be a lot between them. Antrim have yet to Laois after their game was postponed because of Storm Ciara last month so it vital they get a result today. Why not get along to Ahoghill at 2 and give them your support

The Antrim team who beat Dublin last time out was
Antrim : E Boyle, L McKenna, C Drain, M Lynn, N Donnelly (0-1 free), M Connolly capt., R Kelly, E Laverty, A Boyle, M Kelly (1-0), A Connolly, L McNaughton, R McCormick (3-2), K Carey (0-5, 0-4 frees), C Laverty.
