Senior Reserve Shield Group 1
All Saints 2-11 Con Magees 0-11
A great individual display of scoring by corner forward Dairmuid McNally set All Saints up for a win over Con Magees Glenravel at Quinn Park, Ballymena on Friday evening. McNally was in brilliant form as he hit 2-4 out of his team’s total of 2-5 in that period of dominance by the home side, a period in which Glenravel failed to register a score.

When you are eleven points down with nineteen minutes played the task you face is well night impossible but to their credit the visitors did keep battling and two points from Sean McKay, one each from Shanlee Kerr and Aidan McMcCafferty got them back to 2-7 to 0-4 at half time.
Two quick points at the start of the second half by Cormac Magill and Conor O’Rawe put All Saints firmly back in control, though Glenravel came back with two of their own through Chris Laverty and Declan Diamond. Eoin Walsh and Sean McCambridge added points for the home side to put eleven points between them and though Glenravel finished strongly with five points without reply in the last ten minutes (four of them from Sean McKay) they were never going to threaten the All Saints lead.
