Searching through the archives I came across these photographs of a South West U12 football final from 2006. I dont have a report from the game but the photographs include a young Dermot McAleese who captained the successful Sean Stinson’s side who defeated Rasharkin in that final.
Presenting the trophy to Dermot is that great servant of the South West division, Colum Walsh and the Aghagallon man is still very much involved with the South West committee 15 years later.

The photographs include quite a number of players who went on to represent their clubs at senior level, Dermot McAleese of course now a member of the Antrim county setup.
