The charity, A.L.P.S. which carries out tremendous work with people with mental health and suicide awareness issues held a promotion evening at Casement’s GAC Portglenone to advertise their forthcoming Antrim Masters v an Ulster Master’s select.
The game which will be played at the Portglenone grounds on the 24th July (5pm) will include a host of star names with Peter Canavan just one of the former all-stars expected to line out for the Ulster select. The game will also include a half-time challenge between an Antrim GAA for All and a Derry GAA for All and members of the Antrim Masters and Antrim and Derry GAA for All squads attended the launch
Frank Diamond, co-ordinator of the event, Ronan Gilchrist and Nora Murray from A.L.P.S. attended the launch and they promised a great evening’s entertainment for all who come along and it affords local GAA fans the opportunity to come along and support their respective teams whil supporting a very worthwhile charity.
