Congratulation to Daire McMullan of St Louis Ballymena and Christy McGarry of Cross & Passion College who have been selected on the Danske Bank GAA Hurling All Stars team which was announced this week.
Topping the list are Mageean Cup winners Red High Downpatrick, who have six representatives on the team, while runners-up St Pat’s Maghera have two, as do Our Lady & St Patrick’s Knock. Two Armagh hurlers make the selection, one from St Patrick’s Armagh and one from St Patrick’s Keady, while Gaelcholáiste Dhoire have a representative on the team for the first time.

Cargin’s Conhuir Johnston did something that few Antrim footballers have done and that is to be selected on the Dankse Bank All Star football team. Conhuir was centre forward on the St Mary’s Magherafelt team who beat Holy Trinity Cookstown and is selected at left half forward on the All Stars team.
