Good luck to Colm McDonald who takes charge of the Nickey Rackard Cup final

We at the Saffron Gael would like to wish our good friend and supporter Colm McDonald good luck when he referees tomorrow’s Nickey Rackard Cup final at Croke Park. The St Gall’s clubman will be in charge as Tyrone face Roscommon at Headquarters. Colm’s star continues to rise, having taken charge of last season’s Antrim Football final between Creggan and Aghagallon, plus the Ulster Club Hurling final between Slaughtneil and Ballycran, which was also at Corrigan Park.

By coincidence the man on the line for Tyrone tomorrow will be Michael McShane of Ballycastle, who was the man in charge of Slaughtneill when they won that Ulster title back in December. The game, which is on TG4, throws in at 3pm.
