Aghagallon 5-20 Gort na Móna 1-02
Aghagallon finished their season on a high when they had a runaway win over a badly depleted Gort na Móna side on Wednesday evening at Paric na nGael. Last season’s county finalists, who are getting back to near full strength, warmed up for the opening game of the championship in ten days’ time with a polished display
A goal from corner forward Caolan Farr and two from full forward Ruairi McCann helped the St Mary’s side to a 3-13 to 0-0 half time lead. Manus McMullan pulled a goal back for the Gorts in the second half with a well taken finish from a penalty but the home side added two more to their tally to record a facile win.
