Orlaith Prenter has been one of the stars of the Antrim team this season, after joining the squad at the beginning of the season. Many wondered why she hadn’t joined the panel earlier but she was inspired by the whole occassion of last season’s final, despite Antrim’s defeat, so she decided she would give it a go and it has worked out well. The girl has pedigree as she is a daughter of Brendan Prenter who did goals for Antrim hurlers in the early nineties and was a member of the Creggan team who won the All Ireland Junior Hurling championship back in 2014
