Danske Bank MacNamee Cup Semi-Final:
Cross & Passion Ballycastle 6-12 St Mary’s CBGS 1-11
THE concession of three goals in each half left life very difficult for St Mary’s CBGS in this second Danske Bank MacNamee Cup semi-final played in Dunsilly yesterday.
The Glen Road side had plenty of the play particularly in the first half and with a goal from Finn Smyth and some fine points from Pádraig Walsh, they hit 1-7 before the break.
The problem was that Padaí O’Kane, Charlie McAuley and Dan Lynn got through for goals and Cross & Passion led by two points at the change of ends.
O’Kane, who finished with 2-5, started the second half goal-rush and Patrick Campbell and substitute Ronan Elliott added to that early strike to take CPC clear of the city boys and set up a final with St Patrick’s Maghera.

CPC: Cormac Bailey, Sean Mc Henry, Joseph Kinney, Aaron Richmond, Aaron Gillan, Oran Baudant, Peter Laverty, Cormac Scanlon, Matthew Donnelly (0-2), Patrick Campbell (1-0), Charlie McAuley (1-2), Joe Derry (0-1), Padai O’ Kane (2-5), Dan Lynn (1-1), Cahir Mc Closkey (0-1)
Subs: Ronan Elliott (1-0), Shea Casey, Cillian Cunning, Ronan Mc Garry.
St Mary’s CBGS: Finn Smyth 1-0, Padraig Walsh 0-5, Shea McGarry 0-3, Conall Dempsey 0-3
