Gort na Mona won the Feile B title at Dunsilly on Saturday evening when they beat St John’s in the final. Lorcan Cordner pointed the Gorts ahead in the fifth minute but St John’s hit back to level one minute later. Nathan McKenna pointed the Gorts ahead from a free in the seventh minute before adding two more in the 8th and 9th minutes. The Turf Lodge boys were on top form as they pushed further clear and points from Keelan McCann and Ruairi Ó Scolláin had them 0-6 to 0-1 ahead at half time
In a low scoring second half Player of the match McKenna increase their lead with another pointed free. St John’s closed the gap with their second point of the game with five minutes left to play, but that was as close as they would get and Gorts claimed the coveted Feile trophy with a bit to spare
