The 2023 Jack McCartan Festival of football produced brilliant displays of skills determination and teamwork throughout the day. This was the first year the event was being delivered under the new go games policy. 

This year was also very poignant as it was the first since the passing of Joe McCartan. Joe founded the tournament in memory of his father Jack more than 40 years ago. It was an emotional day for the McCartan family who were heartened by the support from CLG Naomh Pól and all participating clubs.
