Saffron Gael’s Elaine Kelly speaks to Moneyglass manager, Cathy Carey on the eve of the Feile to talk about Feile 2023.
Elaine: “St Ergnats Moneyglass have had a good few success stories from Feile”.
Cathy said,
“ After a very successful day at the 2023 All County Feile, St Ergnat’s Moneyglass U15 girls are looking forward to making their way to the John West All Ireland Feile this weekend, hosted by Connacht GAA, for the second year in a row.
With the hopes of emulating All Ireland winning teams from 2017, 2018 and 2022, the team travel to Tubbercurry GAA in Sligo, but will face opposition from Carlow side, Old Leighlin, Waterfords’ Gaultier and CT Gaels from Sligo in the group stages.



The team will be led by captain Mia McLarnon with a number of girls remaining from the team of last year, plus some new to the panel travelling to their first Feile”.
The management is a great combination of knowledge and football experience, with Cathy Carey the current County and Moneyglass senior captain, Kevin Madden with years of experience and who also manages the Moneyglass U14 girls who won the A Championship this season, Anne Marie McCormack who is part of the management team of the back to back Senior Ladies Champions Moneyglass and the experienced coach Ruiri O’Boyle who was also part of the Moneyglass U14 A Championship management team .
