Con Magees and Brídíní Óga Cúl Camp is in full swing this week with 113 children participating in a variety of stations which include hurling, goalkeeping, speed and agility, rounders, tag rugby, team building and gaelic football. A mini summer league runs each afternoon and we’ve heard there is no front runner yet in the league and it’s all to play for over the next 3 days. The Conn Óg Camp runs alongside the main camp and 46 Playschool and P1 children are having a ball, learning new skills and making friends.
Caoimhe Duffin and her team of 37 coaches and helpers were delighted to see a bit of sunshine today after a wet start yesterday. Plenty more fun and games to be had the remainder of the week.
