Reserve Football Cup
St Gall’s 3-17 Casements Portglenone 1-7
St Gall’s progressed the semi-final of the Reserve Cup with a comprehensive win over Portglenone in Wednesday evening’s quarter final at the Bog Meadows.

With a good number of the 2010 All Ireland winning team turning out again the Milltown men dominated from the early stages and after the sides were level on a point apiece after three minutes the boys in blue added a goal and three points without reply, the goal coming from the evergreen Sean Kelly.
Ciaran Lynch pulled a point back for Portglenone but Dan Murray, Terry O’Neill, Michael Hopkins and Michael Pollock came back with points for the home side and they pushed on to lead by 2-11 to 1-4 at half time.
Brian McManus and Ciaran Lynch hit two early second half points for the visitors but two from Polock and one from Hopkins put St Gall’s back in total control. Ciaran McAleese replied for Casements but when St Gall’s grabbed their third goal there was no way back for Portglenone.
