Con Magees Glenravel finished their Group 1 campaign with a big win over last years’ Junior Champions Pearses at the Crikey on Sunday afternoon. The Glenravel men had the upper hand in the first half and led by 2-10 to 1-0 at half time, their goals coming from Aidan O’Donnell on six minutes and Eamon Ward.In the second half Glenravel pushed on and added goals from Sean McKay, Rian Lennon, plus one from a penalty by Eamon Ward, whose grandfather Jimmy Ward was a member of the Sarsfields team who beat Pearses in the 1967 Antrim Senior final.

Glenravel now face Gort na Móna in the quarter final in two weeks time.
