St John’s Carnlough U-16’s were presented with the Division 2 League Trophy on Wednesday evening after their final match of the season against Rasharkin at Dreen.

Rasharkin provided Carnlough with a stern test well into the second half but the Carnlough girls found their stride and accumulated an amazing 4-17 to Rasharkin’s 0-04.  This superb second half performance put the destination of the League trophy beyond doubt.

After losing their opening game of the campaign St John’s went on to record an amazing 15 league wins in a row and highlights the amazing job being done by the girls, their coaches and the guest coaches during the year, this is also only their 2nd year at U-16.
