Erin’s Own Cargin held their annual youth presentation evening in their Clubrooms on Saturday 7th October. It was held over two separate sessions, nursery to U11.5, U12 to minor.
Special guests for the younger crop were senior stars Pat Shivers and Kevin O Boyle. For the older group special guests were current Antrim Senior Football manager Andy McEntee and Antrim Senior Camogie star Chloe McShane.
To mark the club’s centenary year Cargin’s Youth Committee awarded a specially designed playing jersey to each and every Cargin underage player in all three codes LGFA, Camogie and Boys football from Nursey to Minor. With the senior final against Dunloy taking place the following day, this certainly added to the buzz of the weekend. These were given out along with the individual player awards.
