Cross & Passion College 3-13 St Louis 1-07

Three second half goals gave Cross & Passion College victory over St Louis Ballymena in Wednesday evening’s final of the Gaelfast Year 10 Hurling Cup at Dunsilly.

There was little to choose between the sides in a well contested opening half, which ended with CPC holding a slender one point lead, 0-8 to 1-04, the St Louis goal coming from full forward PJ Molloy.

However the Ballycastle side really hit their stride in the second period where goals from team captain Matthew Donnelly, Ronan Elliott and Peter Laverty, plus some great points from Charlie McAuley, swung the game firmly in their favour
