St Paul’s young stars receive their MFC awards

Saturday night saw St Paul’s minor squads celebrate their 2023 Championship success of winning the Antrim Minor Football Championship for the first time in 30 years.

Guest of honour on a great night for the club was Dublin legend Brian Fenton, a man who has been a great friend of the St Paul’s club for a good few years now.

A great crowd turned up to cheer on their young heroes on the night and see the top players receive their individual awards. Picking up the top awards were –

Football Player’s Player of the Year – Niall Carmichael

Minor Footballer of the Year – Conall Burke

The highlight of the evening was the players receiving their Minor Championship medals from such a great player as Brian Fenton. It was great to see all members of the squad get the recognition they deserved for their hard work and dedcication.

The players and management wish to thank everyone who came on the night including club committee, Nipper Quinn, DJ Bradso B, Jim McAvoy, Seamus Loughran and Pòl Brennan for making the night such a wonderful occasion for our players.
