Ruairis get their first win, while Dunloy make it three from three

Ard Na Rí 2-17 Ruairi Og Cushendall 7-13

Cushendall got their first win in the Minor Hurling League on Sunday when they travelled to Belfast and beat Ard na Rí in high scoring game at the Bog Meadows

Three goals in the first half by Thomas McLaughlin and one each from Cormac Laverty and James McKeegan helped the Ruairis to a 5-8 to 1-8 half time lead, the Ard na Rí goal coming from Donnacha McGurk.

A goal from Ard na Rí right half forward Conor McConville early in the second half gave the Belfast boys a bit of hope but Cushendall came back with a goal of their own from Oisin Woodhouse soon afterwards. A good spell for Ard na Rí saw James Kelly hit four points and Conor McConville one, to close the gap. However Woodhouse got his second goal with five minutes left to play and it sealed the win for Cushendall
