To mark Cumann na mBunscol Week 2024 Moneynick Primary School hosted the first South West Aontroim Cumann na mBunscol Rounders Day in Erin’s Own Cargin, a fitting venue, a club steeped in rounders history. From the mighty Glens to the shores of Lough Neagh the children pitched and batted, hitting the bases for team success. Mr Seamus McMullan, Chairperson of Aontroim GAA and Mr Gary Farrell, President of National Cumann na mBunscol Ireland joined the teams to celebrate their skill and talent. Congratulations to the staff and pupils from participating schools, together they made the day an outstanding success.
