All County Football League Division 3
Eire Og 0-07 Con Magees 6-19
In perfect conditions for football on Sunday in Woodlands Glenravel recorded a thirty point victory over outclassed Belfast side Eire Og.
Despite fielding their strongest team in weeks it was the Belfast men who started off better and after 10 minutes play lead by 4 pts to 2
This was as good as it got for the home side however as Glenravel started to find their range and with Eamon Fyfe and Joe Scullion on song they went on to take control of the match by half time as they opened up 4-8 to 0-6 lead.
.Conor McNeill was brought on shortly after half time and soon added a point and with similar scores from Kieran McKeown and Joe Scullion the they stretched their lead.
At this stage all the reserves all got a run out with Brendan Lynes closing the scoring with two points. Unfortunately this victory meant nothing to Glenravel regarding promotion as O’Donnell’s win meant they clinched the promotion place which was still up for grabs
Scorers for Glenravel
Eamon Fyfe 1-9, Joe Scullion 3-3, Aiden McCafferty 1-2, Conor McNeill 1-1, Kieran McKeown 0-1, David Higgins 0-1, Brendan Lynes 0-2.
