The Moneyglass team who won the All Ireland Feile Péile na nÓG Division 4 title earlier this year were guests of honour recently at a reception hosted by the Mayor of Antrim & Newtownabbey Cllr Paul Hamill at the council’s Mossley Mill headquarters in Newtownabbey.
The girls who brought glory to the club back in June were accompanied by their parents and the management team of Sarah McCann, Anna McCann and Justin McErlain. The girls presented Cllr McCann with a copy of the club’s history and received presentations in return to mark this historic occasion.
A fantastic evening and well deserved recognition for this fantastic St Ergnat’s team.
The winning Moneyglass feile team were invited to a meeting with the Mayor of Antrim to include a civic reception at the Council quarters in Newtownabbey this evening Tuesday 8th August at 7pm Along with the team, their parents and their 3 coaches Sarah McCann, Anna McCann and Justin McErlain were also in attendance . A fantastic evening and well deserved recognition from the Mayor of Antrim. Well done girls.
