St. Mary’s GAC Golf Classic
St Mary’s GAC, Aghagallon held their Golf Classic at Edenmore Country Club on Friday 25th August. The event was a great success. The club would like to thank all those who took part.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported the day, the golfers (and non golfers) who played, the main sponsors on the day NIBC Ltd and all the businesses who sponsored a hole or donated a prize and to our main club sponsors Hannon Transport who worked tirelessly in advance and on the day to ensure that the day went as well as it did, Aodh and Teresa Hannon and Una Mc Stravick and their team of helpers. To all the club volunteers who helped with registration, manning the holes and preparing in any way to make the day the success that it was.
To Pat Christie our MC for the day who ensured everyone teed off with a smile on their face which was just as well as Bert Trowlen was poised to capture the moment with his camera.
To Josh Logan and all of the staff at Edenmore who made sure that despite a wet start and finish to the day the course was in great condition and everything was perfect from the first tee, through to the hole challenges against the Club Pro Andrew Manson and the Junior Karl Teggart ending with the beautiful meal in The Curious Fox Restaurant afterwards for the presentations”
