All Saints Intermediate Football Championship Winners 1986

I came across an old photograph this week on facebook of the All Saints team who won the Antrim Intermediate Football Championship in 1986. I recognise quite a few of them as I was involved with the team at the time. The front row from left to right is: Maurice McQuitty, Danny McGlone, Maurice Goldring, Gerry McCann, Hugh Killough and Dominic Gallagher. Behind them are Jimmy McErlaine and Frank Delargy.

Standing at the back of the photograph, I believe are Tony McAtamney (RIP), Enda McCann, Raymond Shannon,Timmy Connolly, Kieran Quigley, John Logan, Paddy Quinn, Barney Lynn, Seamus McMahon, Barney McCann, Micky McVeigh, Denis Rocks, Andy McAuley and Kevin Quigley. Does anyone know who the other two players are.

The photograph was take (I believe) at the club’s presentation dinner in Leighinmohr House Hotel.

All Saints begin their bid for another Intermediate title when they face Glenravel in Creggan on Monday evening. They face a tough challenge from last year’s Junior Champions and will have to be at their best if they are to advance to the next round.
