Stars of the Future Strut Their Stuff at Corrigan

Ladies Football stars of the future were seen strutting their stuff during the half time intervals of Moneyglass v St. Enda’s U14A Final and St. Paul’s v Moneyglass Ladies Senior final at Corrigan Park on Saturday evening. The St. Ergnat’s youngsters took on St. Enda’s in the first half time encounter and the girls from Marrion Hill were back in action against the St. Paul’s young blood during the half time break in the senior game.

All three clubs represented must be congratulated for the work they are doing with these children who displayed plenty of skill and potential and hopefully somewhere in the not too distant future the Saffron Gael will be featuring them again.

Ladies football in Antrim has made massive strides in recent years with more and more clubs within the county fielding sides at juvenile and senior level and its popularity was clear to see during Saturday’s showcase final when a large crowd turned up at the Whiterock venue to cheer on their respective sides.
