Out injured, St. Ergnat’s Colm Duffin and in Paddy McAleer of All Saints
Allianz NFL Div. 4
Waterford v Antrim
The Antrim football team to face Waterford tomorrow shows just one change from the side who performed so commendably against Leitrim last week in the opening round at Corrigan Park. St. Ergnat’s Colm Duffin, who worked extremely hard at full-forward for 40 odd minutes before being replaced by CJ McGourty is the man who misses out after sustaining a cracked bone in his jaw in a heavy first half collision.
Not surprisingly manager Lenny Harbison has selected a ‘same again’ defence after a tight marking exhibition but back into a reshuffled attack comes All Saints man, Paddy McAleer who was perhaps unfortunate to miss out on a starting berth last week.
McAleer is named at right-half-forward with Conor Murray taking over Duffin’s full-forward role in an attack that looks to have plenty of scoring potential. Waterford make two changes from the side who gained a very creditable draw away to Wicklow in the opening round with Ray O Ceallaigh and Donal Breathnach starting at left corner back and centre half forward respectively.
