                                      St. Mary’s Aghagallon in All Ireland Scór na nÓg Final

St Mary’s Aghagallon held a fundraising quiz in The Gate Inn on Friday 2nd February to raise funds for the 8 children who will be taking part in the All Ireland Scór na nÓg Final on 17th February in Sligo.

It was a huge achievement for these young people to not only be crowned County Scór na nÓg Champions but to be crowned Ulster Champions was just a dream come true.

There was a huge turnout of people at the quiz which just goes to show that Scór is a huge part of club, community and parish life in Aghagallon.  The mentors of the Léiriú group, Una McStravick and Caitriona McAtarsney, thanked everyone for attending and supporting the group. They thanked Orla Hamill for asking the questions, Diane and Brian at The Gate Inn for their hospitality and constant support and Bert Trowlen from Saffron Gael for the photos. Last but not least, they thanked the club for their unwavering support and congratulated their Ulster Champions on their hard work and dedication over the last few months.

We, at Saffron Gael want to wish Daniel, Oisin, Meabh , Zara, Éadaoin, Úna, Ciara and Ronan all the best of luck on their big day on 17th February. Ádh mór oraibh!
