The ACH Leagues get under way tomorrow (Sunday)  and the Saffron Gael would like to carry reports on as many games as possible but it is a physical impossibility for us to have someone at every game. If your teams playing tomorrow perhaps you could appoint someone to take notes at your game and send us a wee report or even teams and scorers with a bit of detail on the game. Perhaps you are someone who attends your club games regularly but are not involved with the team. Maybe you would like to make a contribution and what better contribution than having your team’s match report featured on our web.site every week. We’ll even credit the report to you but we reserve the right to make alterations if we feel it is necessary. So why not give it a go. You may discover you enjoy  it and what do you have to lose?

Here are a few pointers on doing a report for those attempting it for the first time:

1GL RJ 07  1-1 TO 0-1 etc.

Half time score

Full time score

Teams: Home team & Subs:

Away team & Subs:

Add a few details of major scores and build up.

Avoid criticism of referees and anything that might be deemed controversial.
