The annual Conor Devlin memorial tournament was held at Whitehill, Randalstown on Saturday and in glorious sunshine those attending were treated to a feast of hurling.
The club posted this message on their facebook page and the Saffron Gael congratulate the Tir na nOg club on this wonderful annual event and thank them for the wonderful photographs which we have re-posted on this page.
‘Once again what a fantastic day, aided by the wonderful weather!!! From start to finish the Conor Devlin Tournament was one of the most enjoyable days of our GAA calendar.
We would firstly like to begin with thanking our grounds men for preparing the club and pitches for the tournament, thanks to Ryan O’Reilly and Mark O’Neill for officiating all day.
Thanks to everyone for organising the food and shop, to Emmet Martin for providing the player of the tournaments gifts.
Thanks to all the visiting teams and congratulations to Shield Winners Kevin Lynches Dungiven and Cup Winners Robert Emmetts Slaughneil. Many thanks to Colm Duffin for organising a great event as usual.
Well done to all of the young and old hands who stripped out in our exhibition game. Lastly thanks to our great club and supporters for making the day what it was’.
